Disconnected (1984)
One girl has long, dark straight hair and a slim frame — she’s sitting on a couch, scrolling her phone in a well-lit living room with a lamp on the side table. Another scene shows a different woman, also slim, early 20s, with short dark curly hair, walking down outdoor stairs at night beside a red car, looking casual. They meet up later at a dimly lit bar booth, both smoking, sitting across from each other with ashtrays on the table, exchanging conversation. The lighting is low throughout, giving it a late-night vibe, mostly wide and medium shots with no nudity or sexual acts. There’s a moment where one puts out a cigarette indoors, close-up on her hand and the ashtray on a table. Entirely non-explicit, just two young women in everyday situations — smoking, walking, talking, using their phones.
