Adulterio a la espanola (1976)
The guy in the suit has gray hair, a mustache, and looks like a dad who’s been working too long at the office. He’s not the main focus, but he shows up later sitting in a dim room like he just got caught. The real action starts with a brunette in a short dress making out with a younger guy in the back of a car — heavy kissing, hands under clothes, her leg hiked up on the seat. They’re not fucking in the car, but it’s obvious where this is headed. Cut to two thick brunettes outside in a garden, one with curly hair and a necklace, the other with her hair in a ponytail. They’re not doing anything sexual there — just chatting like they’re hiding a secret. Later inside an apartment, the younger woman stands in a doorway wearing a tight top, talking to the older one who’s holding a paintbrush. No actual sex shown in the frames, but the tension is built around cheating, stolen moments, and the promise of more. The camera stays tight during the kiss, zeroing in on their mouths and hands roaming. Lighting is natural in the garden, artificial and shadowy in the indoor scenes. You get the feeling this is more about the drama than the fuck, but the setup is definitely leading to one.
