China 9, Liberty 37 (1978)

This one’s all about the outdoors and rough action. China and Liberty are the stars, with Liberty’s blonde hair and slim frame contrasting with China’s darker, mustached presence. The riding scene in the desert is a standout — Liberty’s long blonde hair bouncing as she goes to town. There’s a lot of tension between the three, with China taking control and Liberty giving as good as she gets. The natural lighting and wide shots make it feel raw and real.
